Wellbeing you do with your eyes closed.

Not another listicle about why sleep matters. Not a seventeen-step evening routine. Not a podcast you need to find 45 minutes for.

The Exhale is a short Sunday read and a 5-minute guided audio practice — delivered together, every week. You read. You press play. You exhale.

Grounded in real yoga and breathwork science. Written and performed by someone who did their 200-hour yoga teacher training and still lies awake sometimes. (That's the point, actually.)

Each Sunday includes:

A single, clear takeaway

One idea about rest, sleep, or nervous system regulation that you'll actually remember.

The science behind it

One real study, explained like a human wrote it, with a link if you want to go deeper.

A 5-minute guided practice

Breathwork, body scan, somatic grounding, or yoga nidra. Born from the issue. Something you can do right now, wherever you are.

One honest recommendation

A product I actually use, with a link and the word "affiliate" if it applies.

That's it. Readable in five minutes. Practisable in another five. Free, every Sunday.

Who's behind this?

I'm Becky. Yorkshire-born, trained voice actor and 200-hour yoga practitioner. I built The Exhale because I couldn't find the thing I was looking for — a newsletter that actually did something, not just wrote about doing something.

I'm not a yoga teacher. I didn't do the training to teach — I did it because I needed to understand how this all works. And I'm still working on it. I still have the 3am wake-ups. This newsletter is the toolkit I've built from those mornings.
